Hampshire Junior 2023 Open Chess Congress 12/11/23
Congratulations to Leo who scored an excellent 6/6 in the under 12 section to win the under 12 trophy and a cash prize.
In the open section both Harry and Tristan did really well and both finished with a creditable 3/6 score. This section was for all players up the age of 18 so tough opposition through the 6 rounds.
A special mention to Harry who managed to beat Finn in round 4 – a big scalp these days (sorry Finn, you will have much better days).
Well done all three of you in this very enjoyable event.
